Pharmacoll Hydrocolloid Basic ukuran 10cm x 10cm adalah gelatin free hydrocolloid adhesive wound dressing laminated to a semi permeable film backing which is impermeable to exudates, bacteria and viruses.
Upon contact with exudates, hydrocolloid layer transform into a gel and forms a moist wound environment which has been showed to enhance granulation and epithelization. Digunakan untuk luka dengan daya absorpsi yang extra exudat dan kulit yg terluka pada lapisan superficial dan luka jahit.
Hydrocolloid mencegah resiko gesekan kerusakan kulit dan bisa digunakan sebagai secondary dressingsetelah hydrogel dan alginate. Pengobatan pada ulkus kaki, luka tekan, luka bakar grade 1,2, donor site, dan luka granulasi. Hydrocolloid ini menjaga luka kehilangan kelembabannya dan dapat mengangkat juga jaringan matinya. Digunakan 5-7hari, tetapi jika luka yang dengan banyak exudat 2-3hari sekali
